There was special attention to the interiors and materials chosen for the Spirit Trail project. The open concept of the plans with vaulted ceilings were used to help give size to small space living and allows the home owner to dictate how they use the space. Large windows and doors leading to decks letting in lots of natural light were also incorporated to help achieve the idea of borrowed visual space. The home feels much larger while taking advantage of the spectacular views. Living in a marina/on-the-water setting, as well as being right on the Spirit Trail, presented a very unique and beautiful surrounding.

The North Shore Mountains in the background and the downtown city views brought as much of the beauty and feeling of that environment to the interiors so that even when you're outside you had hints of what was to be inside. This led us to choose materials and colours that brought elements of the surroundings while keeping a contemporary feel.

In conjunction with the natural surroundings we used as much environmentally conscious materials as possible. Many of the tiles are 100% recycled material. The Karndean luxury plank flooring is not only extremely durable but also has a very strong environmental awareness with LEED certification for the product. The colours that were chosen pick up on what you see in and around the marina and Spirit Trail. Beach wood greys, warm neutrals, exposed fir beams and doors, and earthy greens that you would see around the area are present. This brings the natural elements of the surroundings inside.

Keeping a modern luxurious feel alongside natural elements brought importance to using clean lines and quartz countertops. Kolher fixtures, deep soaker tubs, dual flush toilets, modern wool blend carpets and heated bathroom floors.

Living at the Spirit Trail Ocean Homes is your chance to live a lifestyle like no other that is unique, exclusive yet affordable.
